New tapestry at the exposition Papier Vertier in Utrecht

The gallery Waterbolk in Utrecht has a small but unique exposition which showcases a diverse range of works, based on papercuts and paper art. The exibition is only one week on show and is organized by the Dutch guild of Papercutting. I would like to show you my contribution with artwork and my new tapestry with my large cutout flower. With my fellow artists we have created a lovely and inspiring show..

The theme of "Papier Vertier" translates to "Paper Amusement" in English, reflecting the playful and experimental nature of the works on display. Artists are encouraged to push the boundaries of traditional paper-based art, resulting in a fascinating amalgamation of techniques, styles, and perspectives.

The Exposition Papier Vertier in Utrecht shows a diverse set of paper as a medium for artistic expression. As you might know, paper is my starting point for my designs, and from these imperfect cutouts I create my vibrant tapestry and art prints. I am very happy with this opportunity to show my work in real life and the collaboration with all the other artists of the dutch guild of papercutting.
