Imperfect handmade cutouts
It all begins with an idea or…. I just start cutting shapes. After that, the playing begins. In this short video I am cutting paper without any Idea or plan, but somehow I often end with a few cut out birds as well. I think that the bird shapes helps me to get into the rhythm and flow, because I like creating them. It helps my mind to wander. As you can see I am a left-handed papercutter. By the way, the song in de video is Around Here by the band Navigate, my sons band. So the creativity runs through the family, they only choose a different instrument.
